Dr. Moataz Mohamed was invited to give UMTIG members a lecture about his research group’s research topics. Dr. Mohamed’s research focus is on sustainable transportation systems, specially public transportation. On January 18th, the UMTIG team came together to celebrate a remarkable year of accomplishments, growth, and collaboration. Held at Dakota Lanes, the event was a vibrant reminder of the dedication and passion that fuels our group.

Dr. Mehran, Dr. Khan and Mr. Abolhoseini attended the 9th International Symposium on Transport Network Resilience, Hong Kong, to present their recent research on freight transportation network analysis including identification of critical nodes and economically critical links in the network. This event was an international scientific symposium jointly hosted by the The Institute of Transport Studies and the The Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Hong Kong.
UMTIG represented by Dr. Mehran, Dr. Khan and Mr. Abolhoseini was invited to Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) to present our recent research on freight transportation network analysis.
