Capacity analysis of signalised intersections under adverse road-weather conditions and heavy vehicle’s ratio
Ryutaru Hirose is an M.Sc. student in the Department of Civil Engineering at University of Manitoba. Before joining this group, Ryutaru studied the capacity of All Way Stop-Controlled intersections at the Nagoya University, Japan and received a B.Eng. degree. Ryutaru joined this research group to learn advanced data analysis techniques while researching the capacity variation brought by the combined impact of adverse road-weather conditions and heavy vehicles. Ryutaro has a strong interest in developing methodologies for statistical data analysis, especially regarding traffic capacity.
